Now featuring work by international, award-winning abstract artist, Natalie Wetzel, who creates inspired works informed by observing the beauty found throughout all creation. Working from a smooth surface, such as clay board, encaustics, alcohol ink and jelly roll pens are layered with other materials in a way that causes colors to pop and adds depth and interest to each painting.
"I am primarily a mixed media artist who enjoys working from a smooth surface, like claybord, and my favorite mediums are encaustics, alcohol ink and jelly roll pens. Although I consider myself to be an abstract artist, I also enjoy incorporating identifiable subject matter into my work. I have found in doing so, more people can relate to and connect with my work. I find great inspiration to create by observing the beauty found throughout all creation. My work is process oriented. I am mostly known for the use of vivid colors that immediately capture the attention of my viewers."
"These paintings are best appreciated in person! The texture is so amazing! The entire painting comes to life when you actually see and touch it! Absolutely beautiful!"
